Hi,

In a most clichéd and stereotypical fashion, I am leaving the my office and setting off on an adventure on January 1, 2017.

One thing that is important to know about me in relation to travelling is that I am really terrible at following directions and maps. When with me, my friends live by one rule, “if Sim says go this way, you always have to go the other way.” We’ll see whether this trait gets better, or if I wind up in the North Pole while looking for the South Pole.

We can all agree that 2016 was rough, almost every week there was another cry of “REALLY 2016, REALLY?” So, here’s hoping that 2017 will be better.
