Adventures in Dining Alone: Can’t Read The Menu Edition

When it’s pouring outside, so you go to the restaurant near your hotel, only there is no English menu, no one speaks English and as a “table for one” they suggest you get the fried rice and the dumplings, and then the dumplings come and they turn out to be dessert variety – and you feel a bit like you’ve been given the fussy kids menu…especially when they keep insisting that I don’t have to use chopsticks, I can use a spoon.

Oh, and the restaurant has a robot.
